Click'n it up a Notch

Favorite photo of January is the question.

Here is the answer:

I've been shooting a lot, so I did have to think about this. But, I was looking through this session again yesterday trying to decide whether I liked the black and white processing and fell into this photo.  I think I had judged it too harshly at first. I like it... that is all.

I'm linking it up to Click It Up a Notch. Can't wait to see some of the other beauties.

  1. I like it, too. The dog peeking out over the book makes me smile, too.

  3. I would have loved to have a picture like this of me growing up! It's like a little journal entry. The bookshelf in the background, the boys not paying any attention to the camera, and the puppy looking at you work together perfectly. Was this picture really candid, or planned?

    1. Thank you, Kira. I do hope my boys appreciate all of the photos I take of them, I have few doubts they will since they seem to already.

I did tell them that their reading time that day needed to be when there was good light coming in the window. LOL So, in that sense it was planned, but that's just them being them. The pup wants to know where I am at all time, so her looking at the camera just happened, too.

Thanks for commenting. I truly appreciate your kind words.

    1. Thank you, Courtney, so much. We're all our own worst critics, I think so the external feedback is nice.
Thanks, too, for all of your inspiration. :-)
