The light that comes in from my bedroom window points down the stairway, but not before crossing through the wrought iron railing that lines the stairs. Even though the railing is there every day, all day for me to see, it's somehow its shadow that catches my attention.
I love seeing a big heart on the wall as I prepare for the day and welcome my family from their sleepiness. Seems just perfect.
