Sweet Shot Tuesday

Time for another Sweet Shot.

Last week, I visited Jt's office for the first time in many moons. The first thing I noticed, of course, were the photos adorning his cubicle. You would never know he has a photographer for a wife. The photos were, aside from horribly outdated, just plain crappy. A few were from studios, where we went as a young family to make sure it was documented just how we looked in front of a boring, generic background. One was cell phone quality (at best) enlarged as if it were the pride of the gallery. And if it weren't for the missing noodles on the macaroni-art frames to prove it's age, they'd think Jt still had a couple of kindergarteners at home.

Ugh.

Fortuitously, he does have a photographer at home and more fortuitously one who had to think of Father's Day gifts for the coming weekend. So, the very next day the boys and I made the long trek to the side patio, set up the tripod and timer and took a few shots.

This one's a big accomplishment for me in that I realized afterward how easy it was. The settings were a no-brainer, the posing was thought-out rather than willy-nilly and most of all, I don't cringe when I look at it. (Let's just say I'm usually very happy behind the camera although theoretically I would love for my boys to have lots of photos of our days together.)

Hanging this one in my own blog office and at Sweet Shot Tuesday.
